A Day in Prep
Every day in Prep is thoughtfully designed to balance play, inquiry, wellbeing and foundational learning. Through a predictable daily rhythm, children develop confidence, independence and a strong sense of belonging while engaging in rich learning experiences that spark curiosity and creativity.
Our mornings begin with play, connection and exploration, as children investigate ideas, pursue projects and participate in specialist lessons including Art, Music, Languages, Library and Physical Education. Throughout the day, children enjoy a blend of indoor and outdoor learning, collaborative play, teacher-guided experiences and opportunities to develop literacy, numeracy and social skills in meaningful contexts.
Time for rest, reflection and group discussion ensures a balanced pace, supporting each child’s wellbeing and readiness to learn. Guided by skilled educators, every day in Prep is purposeful, joyful and responsive to the interests and needs of young learners, laying strong foundations for a successful transition to school.
This daily rhythm provides structure and security while allowing the flexibility for discovery, imagination and wonder that are so important in the early years.
