IGNITE Co-curricular Program at KRB
Purpose and Philosophy
The IGNITE Program at Kincoppal-Rose Bay offers students, from Early Years through Year 12, a wide array of enriching opportunities designed to foster personal growth beyond the classroom.
It encourages students to discover new passions, build confidence, and flourish through experiences that span academic, creative, and global spheres.
Five Empowering Pillars
Activities are organised around five key pillars, each offering diverse and enriching experiences tailored to Senior School students:
1. Sport and Movement
Explore options like hockey, snowsports, Pilates, badminton, basketball, gymnastics, tennis, and more.
2. Intellectual Pursuits and Challenges
Stimulate the mind through robotics, chess, public speaking, debating, and other cerebral adventures.
3. Creative and Performing Arts
Unleash creativity in music, drama, art, dance, and more including the latest additions such as small ensembles, choirs, and the school tech crew.
4. Community and Active Service
Build empathy and leadership through community initiatives like volunteering with St Vincent de Paul Night Patrol.
5. Future and Global Competencies
Includes virtual exchanges, student study tours, immersion programs, and robotics—empowering students for global engagement and leadership.
