KRB Drop Off and Pick Up
A smooth start and end to the day helps our youngest learners feel secure and connected. We ask all families to follow the procedures below to ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child.
Morning Drop Off
Families are welcome to arrive from 7.30am for Long Day Care and from 8.30am for the Term-Time Program.
All Long Day Care Children (Sophie’s Place and Joigny Long Day Care) must be accompanied into the classroom by a parent or guardian.
Afternoon Pick Up
Collection times commence from 3.00pm for the Term-Time Program and until 6.00pm for Long Day Care.
All Long Day Care Children (Sophie’s Place and Joigny Long Day Care) must be picked up and signed out in the classroom by a parent or guardian.
Children will only be released to authorised adults listed on your enrolment form. Identification may be requested if staff are unfamiliar with the person collecting your child.
Parking and Access
Parking is available for Sophie’s Place parents in the designated Early Years car park with entry from Vaucluse Road.
Prep and Joigny Term Time Parents are able to use the Kiss and Go option at the roundabout where KRB staff receive your child and support them getting to either Prep or Joigny classrooms.

Gates and Access
For the safety of all students, access to the KRB campus is managed through clearly designated gates. Families are asked to use the gate relevant to their child’s program each day.
All gates remain secured during school hours, with entry controlled by staff or security systems. We ask that gates are never held open for others and that families ensure they close securely behind them. These procedures help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for our youngest learners while supporting the wellbeing of the broader KRB community.

Drop Off
- 7.30am – 8.00am: Gate 4
- 8.00am – 9.00am: Gate 3
Pick Up
- 2.30pm – 3.00pm: Gate 4
- 3.00pm – 4.00pm: Gate 3
- 4.00pm – 6.00pm: Gate 4
Prep and Joigny – 4-year-old program
Drop Off
- 8.00am – 9.00am: Gate 3 (entry from 7.45am)
Pick Up
- 3.00pm – 4.00pm: Gate 3 (entry from 2.30pm)
Note: Gate 4 is not used for Joigny term time families unless your child attends before or after school care.
Families with Children in Different Year Groups
- Always use the entry/exit point of your youngest child.

Pick Up
- 3.00pm – 4.00pm: Gate 3

Access During School Hours
- If you need to enter the Junior School/Early Years during school hours, please use the intercom at Gate 4.
