Dear Parents,
I am delighted that you have chosen a Kincoppal – Rose Bay (KRB) education for your child. At KRB, our focus is on the whole student, educating both the heart and mind. Our motto, Cor Unum, “one heart, one mind, in the heart of Jesus”, is at the very centre of all that we do. We value every student, encouraging them to achieve academic excellence within an environment of love, opportunity and personal growth.
As your child begins their journey at KRB, your family also becomes part of a rich tradition that spans across 150 Sacred Heart schools in 44 countries worldwide. Founded by St Madeleine Sophie Barat in France in 1800, this global network continues to inspire us today. KRB, established in 1882, proudly carries these traditions forward through the Sacred Heart Goals that underpin our educational vision:
- A personal and active faith in God
- A deep respect for intellectual values
- The building of community as a Christian value
- A social awareness which impels action
- Personal growth in an atmosphere of wise freedom
Parents are our partners in this journey. We warmly encourage you to participate in the life of the school and become part of our vibrant community. Together, we create a learning environment where students are inspired to lead, to serve and to thrive.
Situated on one of the most beautiful campuses in the world, overlooking Sydney Harbour at Rose Bay, KRB provides a serene and inspiring backdrop for the learning, development and adventure that takes place every day.
We look forward to welcoming your family into our community and to walking alongside you as your child discovers the joy and challenge of a Sacred Heart education.
Warm regards,
Erica Thomas
Principal
