KRB Transport
By Car
Mornings: 8.00am – 8.25am
Parents dropping students in the roundabout area of the Junior School or bays on New South Head Road or the Maureen Tudehope Centre (MTC) car park will be assisted by a teacher. Parents are to always remain in their cars, unless their children require assistance or for safety reasons. Do not use mobile phones while driving in these areas.
Afternoons: 3.00pm – 3.30pm
Students can be collected at the designated car pick-up areas (Junior School roundabout or MTC). All cars using the pick-up option should have the ‘KRB Car Card’ clearly displayed on the dashboard so that the teacher on duty can call the child to the pickup area. Parents are to assist children in getting themselves and their belongings into vehicles as needed.

Public Transport Options
Alongside the KRB Bus Services, many families also use public buses, trains, and ferries. Sydney’s transport network provides a variety of convenient ways for students to travel to and from school.
Public Bus Services
Several State Transit buses stop directly outside or near KRB on New South Head Road, Rose Bay.
Key routes include:
- 323 (North Bondi – Edgecliff via Bellevue Hill and Double Bay)
- 324/325 (Watsons Bay – City via Vaucluse and Rose Bay)
- 380/333 (North Bondi – Circular Quay via Bondi Junction) with a short walk connection
These services connect KRB to Edgecliff Station, Bondi Junction Interchange, and Sydney CBD.
Train Services
While there is no train station at Rose Bay, students can connect via nearby interchanges:
- Edgecliff Station – connect to buses 323, 324, 325 (approx. 10 mins to school)
- Bondi Junction Station – connect to 380/333 buses (approx. 15 mins to school)
Both stations are on the Eastern Suburbs Line, providing direct links to the CBD, Inner West, and North Shore.
Ferry Services
Rose Bay Ferry Wharf is approx. 15–20 min walk or a short bus ride to KRB. Ferries run to Circular Quay, where students can connect to trains and buses.
Families from Watsons Bay, Neutral Bay, Mosman, and Manly may also use ferries, then transfer via bus/train at Circular Quay.
Mixed Travel Options
Many families combine modes of transport:
- Ferry from Mosman/Neutral Bay → Circular Quay → train to Edgecliff → bus to KRB
- Train from North Shore or Inner West → Bondi Junction → bus to KRB
- Ferry from Watsons Bay → Rose Bay → walk or bus to KRB
Travel Tips for Parents and Students
- Students should use an Opal Card for all public transport
- Plan journeys via Transport NSW Trip Planner or apps like TripView
- Allow extra time for morning services, particularly in wet weather
- For younger students, families often practice the journey together before school starts
